This distance wares on siblings, parents, caregiver, and friends and can cause children fighting cancer increased sense isolation. We provide gas cards for families so that they can give their love and support in-person and help our Fighters fight harder.
During long treatments and hospital stays, those who sleep alongside and care for their Fighter deserve our support. The average cost of a hospital meal can average $12 per meal, which over a month can easily reach over $1,000 a month. When it comes to bedding, most are provided with only a pillow and sheet.
Proud Fight supports caregivers with bedding, food gift cards, books, and other comfort items to ensure they have what they need to support their Fighter.
